Our Story

At Kane Marine Restoration, we believe passion for boating is instilled at an early age. This is true for owner Alec Kane, who restored his first wooden boat at age 14. That boat went on to win multiple awards at one of the Midwest’s largest boat shows. Since then, Alec has channeled his passion for antique boats into obtaining advanced skills and understanding in wood working, boat construction, modern construction techniques, marine finish work, and boat restoration.
